Why Collect Old Cash Registers?
8" mcgraw Edison Zero fan in green. Was used in a bar in Wisconsin, over the cash register to cool the clerk there. Fan has chrome, steel cage, chrome steel blades and is in near-mint condition.
My best friends mom owns a antique store, and she recently gave me a job there. Tomorrow is my second day, the first day I dressed a little dressy, and I felt uncomfortable. I basically run the cash register and put out new items, so I'm running around the entire time.
Any ideas on what to wear? Its supposed to be rather nice outside, so don't worry too much about the weather.

I'm looking for unique diffrent old fashion antiques strange cash registers and thought that just maybe someone might have come across something like this on the net.
Basicaly here's what I'm looking for, you know that cash register they use at that store in the mall, I want something that qualifies as not that kind of cash register. Something that looks interesting fun something that people say wow that's the coolest looking cash register I've ever seen.
I'm not looking for antique cash registers but if it was company that made new cash registers that looked like old ones, that would be a perfect place for me to start.

This is my uncles 1890s barn that he uses to store cars, and that his stepson is turning into a house.
I have a very old cash register made by The Cash Register Company, In Dayton, Ohio. The serial number is 2322572, the model number is 1068-G. It is in overall fair condition and still works and dings when cashed out.I am trying to find out the age of it, the value of it, and any other information i can!
