I didn't take a picture of it but I'll describe it.
Imagine a paint roller. Instead of a fluffy roller, there is a hollow aluminum tube that is closed on the end that that the handle is not attached to. The tube is covered in uniformly spaced holes that are the diameter that are slightly larger than the width of a toothpick.
This is an antique tool - I don't know if it's a cooking, laundry or farm tool.
Somebody guessed a pudding maker and a potato ricer and it was neither.
I have searched online and I can't find a picture of it, let alone an idea of what it could be.
